The Gymnastics Coach provides supervision and guidance of the recreational gymnasts in their lesson. This includes instructing participants, overseeing safety and teaching basic coordination and fundamental movement.
Under general direction from the head coach, you will assist with the direction of gymnasts. You will be responsible for developing and sustaining positive relationships with participants, by providing motivational support and guidance. Key tasks and responsibilities: Be present at all trainings; Run effective training sessions that engages participants; Report any situations you think might need investigating and to complete incident and accident reports when necessary; Be physically fit; Have the confidence to work with children; You will need to be motivated, and have a strong desire to see kids reach their potential; Ensuring the health and safety of the athletes you are coaching.
Turn and Gymnastics Circle will give you the opportunity to upskill by providing you the opportunity to attend Gymnastics New Zealand accredited courses. Pay for First Aid certificate.
