Welcome and offer refreshments to donors, stock biscuits, sugar, tea, coffee, Milo, cold refreshments and other foods provided. Ensure hygiene standards are maintained while providing refreshments. Keep refreshment area clean and tidy, observe donors and inform staff if donors look, feel or become unwell.
Experience dealing with a wide range of people, customer service experience, supporting people who are providing a life saving service.
Good hygiene and presentation, reliability, patience good people skills, good spoken English.
We need people who are able to commit to a regular roster, agreed to a month in advance.
We are unable to accommodate those whose availability is not known until the last minute or who cannot volunteer in the school holidays.
Age 18 or over.
Outgoing, patient, friendly.
We are looking for someone who can commit to the role for a year and is available Wednesday or Thursday afternoon, including school holidays, and is able to commit to rostered shifts a month in advance. Some other weekday availability would be an advantage.
