Inwards Goods - Te Rapa

This role involves helping our donors to unload donations from their vehicles, also help to load and unload furniture and occasionally sorting through the donations getting them ready for sale as they come in. Volunteering for Habitat for Humanity Central North Island is rewarding - we work on a hand up, not a hand out philosophy, so you know that you are giving people a hand up in addressing their housing need, and paving a way to a better life for them. Requirements:

Must be able to lift heavy furniture and have good customer service skills.
Friendly, outgoing reliable and punctual.

A Ministry of Justice background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

Four hours per week minimum on the following days;
Tuesday 9am - 1pm or 12pm - 4pm
Wednesday 9am - 1pm or 12pm - 4pm
Friday 9am - 1pm or 12pm - 4pm
