Friends of the Emergency Department - Taupō


These hospital volunteer programmes, Friends of the Emergency Department and Hospital Friends are designed to provide comfort and support to patients and their families in hospital emergency departments, as well as other departments and smaller hospitals across the country.
You will be meeting people and helping members of the community in times of need, in what can sometimes be quite stressful situations
You must be at least 18 years of age for this position. You will receive St Johns membership.

Excellent communication skills with sensitivity towards those who are sick.

Physically fit - these roles can involve a lot of walking.
You must be at least 18 years of age.

A Ministry of Justice background check is required for this role.
