Help us work towards a world where everyone has a decent place to live. Habitat for Humanity Central North Island is a not-for-profit organisation that works in partnership with people of goodwill and families in housing need, to eliminate sub-standard housing by building, renovating and selling simple, decent houses on an affordable basis. Habitat for Humanity Central North Island offers home repair, rental, and assisted home ownership services. Habitat's rental service provides accommodation for low income individuals and families. The home repair service provides interest free loans to low income homeowners, that could not otherwise afford to do critical repairs. Our assisted home-ownership programme follows a rent-then-buy model, which helps families build up a deposit that they can use when seeking independent finance and buy their home from Habitat.
We are looking for people who can spare a minimum of 3 hours weekly to sort through the many donations we receive on a daily basis.
This role can be done from the comfort of your home, with weekly visits (usually around 1-2 hours are spent at the store, dependent on how long it takes you) to take photographs.
