Recreate NZ
Recreate NZ aims to provide life changing experiences for youth with intellectual disabilities. We run a range of social and recreational programmes around the country, aiming to enhance the quality of life of our young people by providing adventure based activities in a safe, social environment.
Recreate NZ provides social and adventure programmes running anywhere from 4 hour - 4 day slots. Our young people can be found rafting down the Waikato River, learning various life and employment skills together, doing the Tongariro Crossing or just catching up with each other over dinner! Our nationwide staff team has a range of experience in the disability sector, and work together to provide these experiences throughout the country.
