Age Concern Waikato provide information and services which empower older people to make their own choices and decisions. We provide regular learning opportunities with workshops, seminars and education programmes, serving the Needs of Older People. Our services consist of

Accredited Visiting Service, Fieldworkers - providing support, advocacy and assistance to older people in the community, Elder Abuse & Neglect Prevention - dealing with concerns surrounding abuse of an older persons be it physical, mental, emotional, financial or verbal, Education - seminars, presentations to groups and projects involving the exchange of ideas and skills between generations, workshops dealing with changes that come with age and health Promotion and training - which includes training resthome staff, health professionals and other agencies.
