Volunteering Waikato is looking to partner with more volunteer-involving organisations in order to increase the number of opportunities available to those who want to give their time.
With the disruption organisations have faced this year, there are a reduction in opportunities current available, and yet an increase in those looking to volunteer.
So far this year Volunteering Waikato has experienced a 30% increase in the number of people applying for roles through their website, and yet there are currently 20% less positions available compared to the same time last year.
