Age Concern Taupo

Our aim is to promote the quality of life and wellbeing of older people by providing information and services. Being an advocate when necessary; and empowering older people to make choices to improve their quality of life. To promote positive ageing.

Our Accredited Visiting Service is a befriending service aimed at reducing social isolation and loneliness amongst older people. Volunteer visitors are matched with an older person and commit to a weekly visit of about an hour.
