    Victim Support is a not-for-profit, community organisation with a network of skilled and caring volunteers throughout New Zealand.
    Victims of crime and trauma require safety, healing, justice and restitution. The primary role of the Support Worker is to engage effectively with victims; assessing needs and ensuring all appropriate resources are made accessible.

    Our Support Workers have these attributes:
    • Emotional maturity
    • Advanced listening skills
    • Respect for diversity
    • Good organisational skills
    • Computer literacy; and
    • Time to give on a regular basis

    Support Workers require their own vehicles and access to the internet.
    We will provide extensive, ongoing training and support.
