Royal New Zealand Foundation of the Blind (RNZFB)

"It's a beautiful day and I can't see it" -- powerful words from a U Tube clip. How can you help our vision impaired community?
The Blind Foundation is about showing people with little or no sight new ways of knowing, and new ways of doing that allow personal talents and independance to shine through.
The Foundations key driver is the well-being of its blind, deafblind and low vision members and the quality of their participation in society. To this end Volunteers play an important part in providing a range of support roles and services to our members.
These include but are not limited to - readers, walkers, drivers, home visitors and delivery of "Talking Book Machines". We appreciate your interest in coming to this site and look forward to discussing how we can work together to meet the needs of our members.
This organisation is an approved University of Waikato Employability Plus Programme partner.
