    North Hamilton Community Patrol

Do you want to make a difference in your community?

Community patrollers act as 'eyes and ears' for police. Patrolling their community in pairs, patrollers note anything that could be suspicious and inform police immediately of incidents requiring urgent attention. Some patrols have a very high profile in their community with a sign-written car. Patrollers usually patrol once a month.

Community Patrols are well established throughout New Zealand and help keep your community safe. There are 190 similar groups across New Zealand who are affiliated to the national organisation Community Patrols of New Zealand, with more than 6,000 volunteers nationwide.

Further details are available on our website, on www.nhcp.org.nz and on our Frequently Asked Questions page http://www.nhcp.org.nz/faq/

Our goal is to increase the number of members so we can operate patrols every night of the week. Enquiries from potential members are always welcome.
